Faculty parking
General Faculty
The University of Wisconsin-Madison offers parking options across campus that include surface lot availability, parking ramp availability, and shuttle service options.

VA Faculty
Parking at the VA Hospital will be provided to faculty members who are assigned VA at no cost. This expense is paid for by the VA Hospital and is included as a benefit of a VA appointment.
Those with VA Hospital parking are also included in the secondary parking assignment at UBay through pooled resource sharing at zero cost. The exception to this secondary parking assignment will occur every Tuesday for faculty meetings and all day Thursdays. During these dates/times, the expectation is that VA parking permit holders park in their assigned VA spots. Failure to meet this expectation will result in loss of shared parking privileges.
Academic & University Staff parking
Unitarian Church Parking*
Limited parking hours: 6am-5pm
The Unitarian Church parking passes are a shared DEM resource. Staff must first purchase a primary parking assignment (either UW or non-UW) in order to be eligible for a secondary Unitarian Church parking assignment.
Individual staff are able to secure a parking assignment directly through the church, at the cost of $1,800 per year.

Service passes for free parking on the UW campus
The University of Wisconsin–Madison offers parking options across campus that include surface lot availability, parking ramp availability, and shuttle service options.
The Department of Emergency Medicine has secured two (2) UW assigned service permits that are available to all DEM employees by reservation. These permits are available at no cost and allow for parking across campus in any UW parking lot with Service Vehicle stalls. These permits can be utilized for on-campus meetings, as well as special situations approved by DEM’s Assistant Department Administrator.
